Registration for Swim Lesson must be completed at the front desk. Please see a member of our front desk team to reserve a spot in a class. The next session of swim lessons will take place in September. Registration for all will open August 17. Reservations will not be accepted over the phone. The aquatics staff will reach out to confirm your registration. 

Class Descriptions - for group classes


Seahorse- Ages: 3 years - 5 years old 

Familiarize children to the aquatic environment and help them acquire rudimentary basic aquatic skills. Classes will help participants begin to develop positive attitudes and safe practices in and around water. Your child will start building confidence by going underwater, floating with assistance, and practicing arm and kicking action. The children will occasionally play games that incorporate swimming skills. Swimmers will also begin life jacket exploration, moving from shallow to deep water. 

Jellyfish- Ages: 5 years old - 13 years old

Geared toward; a beginner swimmer who is hesitant in the water. Swimmers will learn basics of swimming, bobbing, breathing control by going underwater, unsupported front and back floating, unsupported rolling over from front to back and back to front, unsupported gliding, unsupported flutter kick on front and back, unsupported front crawl and back crawl arms, jumping in, and water safety.

Starfish- Ages: 6 years old - 13 years old

​These swimmers enjoy being in the water, can put their face in the water with ease and can swim 5 yards in deep water without support. In the level, swimmers will improve on: independent front and back floating, independent rolling over from front to back and back to front, independent front and back glides, front crawl arms, kicks, and breathing, back crawl arms and kicks, retrieving underwater objects, and jumping into water over their head. Swimmers also are introduced to rotary breathing, dolphin and whip kick, and swimming a distance of greater than 5 yards without support.  

Marlin- Ages: 5 years old - 13 years old

Swimmers should already be comfortable swimming front crawl and back crawl. Swimmers will work on: gliding, rotary breathing, freestyle, backstroke, elementary backstroke, scissors kick, jumping into deep water and swimming 10-20 yards, introduce open turning at wall, and treading water. 

Private Swim Lessons 

Private swim lessons are a 30-minute focused swim lesson where an individual can receive one-on-one training with a certified water safety instructor. 

Register for private swim lessons at the front desk. Lessons are available on Mondays and Wednesdays (30 minute time slots available between 12PM and 6PM) and will be scheduled with the swim instructor after registration.
